Default Cannot Reset TPMS

I have tried both options...brake pedal/ignition cycle and hazard button. I can get into learn mode on both, but when I get to the first tire and let out air, I damn near let out all the air and no horn beep. Have tried both ways atleast 5 times now. I have a 2011 f-150. Is there something I am missing? After the new tires and new tpms sensors were put on, I didnt have a light on for about 75-100 miles...then light came on and now I cant reset them. Do I need to activate the sensors somehow? Or is the dealer my only option at this point

Maybe a sensor went bad or you need to get the dealer to "wake" them up.
My dealer did it for no charge, took like 3 mins.

If you could go to a nearby tire shop, they have the little hand held device that will do it in about 2 minutes. And if that doesnt work then you know for sure its the sensor. The shops around me did it for free for me.

I have a similar truck and had the same problem with letting the air out. I eventually went to a tire shop and they did it for me. I am not confident the air method works, though I will be trying next time my tires are changed since I will have a compressor myself.

Rheller1 - really...bad sensor...they are brand new...crap.
More than likely they (or any one of them) aren't bad.

Since they're "brand new" the issue is probably that they need to be activated.

"...I didnt have a light on for about 75-100 miles...then light came on...
This is normal for TPMS that haven't been sync'ed and/or activated.

Dealership can do this with their OTC tool ...
