Can I kill the TPMS warning light?

Exactly. I have a tire gauge and eyes as previously mentioned. I don't need sensors in my tires.

Most people don’t give a rats *** about their oil changes, let alone keeping their tires properly pressurized. I imagine this system cuts down on our fuel use as well. Why anyone would hate TPMS is beyond me.

Hate is a pretty strong word, and one not mentioned here. I merely find the warning light irritating, when not functioning properly.
Of course, I actually monitor my oil changes and tire pressure consistently, so no rats *** involved.

No, it's not worth it if it only saves one life.
It's 100% nanny state driven. Thanks, but no thanks. I have a tire pressure gauge, eyeballs and a brain. If it goes flat at speed, I'll pull over and change it. That's never happened so far in 30+ years of driving, so not a big concern for me.

High performance vehicles back then Eg Corvette etal already had tire pressure monitoring systems in place. Long before any legislature was ever even thought about.

Do you wear a motorcycle helmet when you drive your truck?
If not, why not?
It could save hundreds of lives.

TPMS is driven by the TREAD Act, which was a result of the Firestone debacle. TPMS is mandated in vehicles under 10,000 pounds sold after 9/1/2007, with phase-in starting in 2005.
It's also mandated in the European Union as of 11/1/2014 (earlier for some types of vehicles).

Can we just stick to the question at hand? I gather that the answer is either replace the TPMS sensors or use forscan to program it out. Question was answered, there is no need for the rest of the conversation. It is the OPs prerogative to do what he wants with his truck. I personally like the TPMS, it has served me well but that is me. If the OP wants away to turn off his light, that is his decision. He asked for an answer and he received it with "forscan".....done
