So a swap of a 2011 gauge cluster into a 2010 Lariat is an absolute no go from what I've been reading as of late.

Correct?

On a positive note, Instrument Cluster Store is sending me another cluster. It has 78k miles so I will have to wait awhile to run it since I am just under 75k miles right now. Once I get it I will install it to make sure everything works.

So I did my gauge swap today along with the button on the steering wheel swap. Gauge cluster works, has to have mileage fixed. Has 105k on it. I am getting "trailer brake module fault" as an error message. Other than that, its all good and works flawlessly. Will the place that reprograms the mileage on the clusters be able to disable that error message as my stx does not have the trailer brake option.

Did a quick few video's of it after install. No need to document the install as it is beyond easy. I wish taking out my instrument cluster in my 97 and 98 was this easy.

Were you able to change the mileage as well? I assume you used the IDS software. After reading through this thread again there still isn't a determination on how the mileage is changed.

Let us know who you use to correct mileage if it is or isn't a dealer.
