Cam Phaser Issues

So I have two 09's on my shopping list for this weekend. Both have the 5.4. I'm getting mixed signals on whether the cam phaser issues were fixed by 2009 or not. Can someone tell me for sure if the issue was fixed or not on the 2009 & later Tritons? Thanks.

There was a reduced number of issues, yes, but not totally fixed. Some still have issues. My 2009 has close to 200k miles and is just now starting to hot idle tick.
