Default Cab corner rust

Anyone had to have this repaired yet? Which route did you go and what was the cost? Thanks!

I did my cab corners and rockers in april. I'm in northwest nj. Cost me 3600. My rockers or cab corners were not that bad. But I still wanted them done

That's a little more than I was quoted to do them. Body shop said about 1500 a side.

That is about right. Remove and reseal your third brake light. Order a 6 pack of Fluid Film to stick in the holes underneath to protect it when they're done.

I personally would trade it in now while the market is good.

I'd have to get into an 18+, and then we are talking 40k+ yet. Mine has been paid for for 2 years.

I had two quotes for my 2012. $3,500 if I wanted to do it quick and dirty and sell right away, or $5,500 to do a more thorough job. I'm in Canada 🇨🇦 so that works out to about $150 US 🇺🇸.

The rust hadn't perforated through yet, so I could still get it saftied. Decided I didn't want to deal with it, so sold as is and bought a 2020.

The biggest issue is you don't know what you're getting into until you open it up, and once you open it up, your committed.

Walked away from a black FX4 I really like because of it. It was rusted in the Cab corners and rocker panels. My wife noticed it. I am glad she did.
