In cab 3rd brake light topper wiring question
Hi I'm new to the forum. Any help would be appreciated.
I just purchased a 2014 f150 Eco boost super crew. I took the topper off of my 2010 f150 that I traded in and put it on my new truck. On the previous truck the 3rd brake light for the topper was wired inside the cab by the brake pedal, I didn't look at what wire it was connected to when I removed it. In the new truck I ran the 3rd brake light wire into the cab so that I don't have to worry about moisture and corrosion, but I don't know what wire to connect it to. I went back to where I purchased the topper, back in 2011, and the person I talked with said he didn't know, but I could make an appointment and they will wire it for me, for a small fee of 100 dollars. Any help would be great. Thanks

On my 2013 Eco, the wire for the 3rd brake light was under the hood. On the driver's side fender there was a wire loom with a wire hanging out and terminated with a heat shrink cap. It was under the brake master cylinder.
