Ordered some PLastidip Smoke a few months back and am finally getting around to spraying my ovals.

Gives the chrome surround a brushed aluminum look and darkens the blue to a smoke/greyish black color. Need to redo the front as i taped it off opposed to removing it.

Just an updated pic, nothing new besides running boards removed. Coming up on 10k miles since purchase in February.

Awesome power from the proven V8 and awesome mpg although it didn't take much coming from my GMC. Already tinted and will be taking off the running boards and stickers tonight.
Grats! Great looking truck.
I know how you feel, never understood what the big deal was about 150's...... Until I drove one.

Good looking truck. Get a tune on it now and you'll have a whole mew truck again and really forget thay gmc. I recommend southern speed inc tuning.

Couple things done since i've last posted in this thread.
3" SI/SO Dynatech SplitFlow muffler dumped over rear axle with a 5"x12" tip. Had my exhaust like this on my last truck and love the tone the bigger tip gives to the exhaust note. Plus it's hidden and stays cleaner, somewhat. The sound is very similar if not identical to a corsa sport from the videos i've heard. I highly recommend it to those wanting the corsa sound but not the corsa price.
Also picked up a SCT tuner with just the canned tunes right now off of CL for $200 unlocked. Havent had the chance to load anything up on the truck as i am out of a laptop to update the unit. Rolling on 12k miles now with no drivetrain issues so it may be time to bite the bullet and tune it. Will be looking at SSI and 5 Star. Any other recommendations?
Pic of exhaust setup. Completely hidden from site, except through the wheel well.

Thats a pretty sweet upgrade ! Nice interior. Better put a mini fridge in there - you might be spending some extended time in there !
