Butt Air!(A/C Seats)
I have searched both Manual and Forum for an answer to this question; Does the Air flow on Butt and Back, or just Butt?

This is one of the reasons when I test drove a Lariat with the cooled seats I opted for an FX4 instead. The Lariat had the cooled seats I thought I wanted but after test driving it and discovering the air really only came through the bottom area I decided I didn't need it. In the summer the one area I have a problem with sweat is my back and if this wasn't going to help that I saw no need to pay $1K + more for a Lariat. I invested in some good quality tinting on the FX4 instead!

Your butt chill seats contain a fan or two to boost air flow, yes?
I am assuming there is not a separate a/c unit (peltier junction) for the seats and that it simply draws cold air from the ducting in the flow through console.
My dad's Ram 3500 has cooled seats but they don't do anything unless the dash a/c is on. Thus my assumption that it draws from the main system. I presume the 3-stage pushbutton is actually an auxiliary fan control.
I can't see Ford doing it differently.
I know, lots of assumptions here and going a bit OT.
