Default Bushwacker oem style fender flares

I'm wondering if anyone has installed these flares on a truck without the factory fender flares (xl, xlt, stx). I have an xlt and I'm looking to get a set of oem style fender flares and I'm wondering how these attach to the truck. I've put a set of factory flares on my truck already by drilling a hole in the front fenders and using clips in the back but the front flares aren't staying put all that well and I'm looking for something more permanent. I've searched YouTube but everything I've seen is either a dodge or Chevy which doesn't really help. Any help would be appreciated.

I know you asked for bushwacker flares, but I went with Lund sx fender flares and couldn't be happier. They fit nice and don't move around at all. Just thought I might share

Did you have to drill at all for those?

Nope, no drilling. The flares use existing holes and clips to hold them on.
