Default Bumper Scuff! (with pic)

This AM while trying to get a coffee in Dunk Do's small a** parking lot, i scuffed the guard rail!

Not too bad damage, but I was wondering how I could get it out on my own.

There is no dent or anything, just a bad scuff - any way to get this out?

(btw - a 2010 SCREW with a 6.5' bed is ENORMOUS - I should put "3PTTURN" on my license plate!!!!)

Yikes! I'd me more concerned with the gremlin in the long legs standing behind the truck! Run....

For the scuff, try a polish and wax over it. If that does not do it, try a very fine, usually green, rubbing compound. The red compound is more abrasive so start with the finer stuff first. THose green buff pads will also work on the chrome, even a chrome polish.

Good luck.

Default Removing unwanted Scuffs

Start by using the shirt off the guy that scuffed the bumper, then move onto the pants.

I have been detailing for a long time and I would say not to worry about it I think most of that if not all will come off just take your time. Use some rubbing compound turtle wax green should be good and a buffer, maybe 2 or 3 times should do it then some Chrome polish to bring the shine back and you should be good to go

Nice, thanks guys! You are all a great help! I am going to head to my local VIP and see if I can't find something to make it shine.
