I was looking at the underside of the hood, seems like there's only about 4 bolts that need to be removed then just remove the grill and put the deflector on, is it just that simple?

Pretty easy. Those bolts plus 2 brackets that slip on the edge of the hood on either side. They provide 3m clear tape that goes under the brackets to protect the paint. have had mine on and off a couple times and is pretty simple. I could post pics if you want

Here ya go. The 2nd pic is one of the 4 bolts that hold the grill on that you spoke of. No need to remove the grill just take the nuts off and add the brackets. The last pic is the bracket that slips on the edge of the hood. Install the 4 center brackets first and then put the bugshield on and then you will see where you need to put the clear protective tape for the outer brackets. Any ??s just holler

I like mine but it does whistle too. Also the stupid rubber studs don't stick very good. My center one flew off already.

Where did you guys get your deflectors with the F150 logo and for how much $$$. Looks sharp. I had one for 12 years on my 97. I would consider one for my new 09.

I was surprised how much larger my 09 is compared to the 97 I traded in. Wider, longer, taller. I can barely squeeze into the garage with both mirrors extended. I usually pull the driver's side mirror in.

I could only find this one for the 09 model on the Ford site. I can't really tell from the picture exactly what it is and how it fits on.
