Default Bubbling, Pitting, Rusting front bumper

Taking pride in my truck and looking to have it for a long time....what's the best way to protect the front bumper from chips: 1) clear vinyl protector 2) rock guard...the finish is like what's found near the bottom of fender 3) continue to buy another new painted bumper every 5 years lol...Rhino guard/Linex not an option 'cause I don't like the gritty look it presents...even painted.

Mine is pitted, rusting, and bubbling and looks disgusting. Looking for help and other options! Thanks!

You could Plasti dip the bumper and the damage would only occur to the Plasti dip and not the actual paint. Would be easy to repair too.

My 13 FX4's front end is a mess from our shoddy gravel covered highways even at the low mileage it has. The bumper is trashed. I think I will repaint it, touch minor stuff up myself otherwise and then do clear bra. I should have just done that on day one. That said I am going to replace and I think clear plasti dip my ford badge as the painted one on there is such a mess.
