Default Broken side mirror

I broke my left hand side mirror on a bush while backing out of the drive this morning. It broke a piece off the outside black plastic portion but not the mirror glass.
Do I just buy a whole mirror or can you replace the outside frame portion?

It's a 2011 XLT with the turn signal below the mirror, auto dimming, power adjust with the small convex mirror in the upper left hand corner. Not heated or power folding.

Suggestions?

Id check fordparts.com and see if they have a breakdown of the mirror. If not I would search salavage yards for a cheaper price.

If its the part that can be painted ( or painted on some) you can buy just that part.

Not painted. Just black plastic. I'll call the local salvage yards.

Default Power folding?

If I find a mirror with the power folding option will it work with my truck?
I've not found anything locally yet.

I just took a pair of the same mirrors off of my 2011 xlt to install dumbo ear tow mirrors. I listed them for sale on craigs list for $50 for the pair but so far no takers Im in the phoenix AZ area I havent offerd them on the forum as I dont want to mess with shipping. If you had some way to pick them up it would be good deal for both of us

You may want to check the plug ends on both the factory harness and the mirror to see if the plugs and pinning are the same. I'm not sure if your truck is wired from Ford with the extra feature pre-wired.

If you're in a jamb, we carry new mirrors with free shipping. Here's a link to them on our website.
