Broken shifter problem
My post deleted my text. Crap.
This part broke, the dealer wants $1k Canadian for the whole assembly, i bought a jy assembly for $40 and it broke in my hand as i took it apart.
Is this finger roller available separately OR used on more than the 6r80 with the floor shifter?
im hoping i can just find any floor shifter and pull it instead of being specific to my transmission.
Would any 6r80 work? I mean ones from a 15+ truck until they put the 8 speed in or if they changed the length of the finger.

2009 and 2010 use a single overdrive cancel switch, so you will need 2011-14 with the shift toggle switch. I couldnt swear the 2015+ will work.
There are a bunch of used ones on Ebay

Just go to Ebay and do a search for 2010 F150 floor shifter and it will pull up every shifter from every year with multiple views of each one. The little roller thingy isnt going to be available separately. It is a detent lever and roller that has sheared off
You can still use the shifter broken, it is a very common failure

You were right, it works fine without it being in there. The little plunger switch moved and i think that was my original problem. Truck shifts as it should, into park and gives me back my keys. I took it for a drive last night to charge my battery
