Thumbs up Brochure Private Offer? It's On!

Head's up: After reading about the Order-a-brochure incentive that Ford ran back in Q2 2010 I thought I'd take a swing and see if it's still on. It is!

Ordered a brochure on Friday from Ford's webiste got it in the mail yesterday and it has a $500 private offer "coupon". Not at big as the $750 in Q2 but still, I'm not turining it down.

The coupon also shows seperate finance incentives, but they're the same incentives that show with the $1,500 rebate on the website.

The coupon expires 1/3/2011. Move quickly!

Everybody that went and drove an ecoboost at the events got one of those. The problem is you will not find any new 2011 or very few on the lots by Jan so basically its order an 2011 or buy a 2010 which is what they hope that you will do.

I think thats the idea of holding back EPA figures on the ecoboost. They know that most won't order one until they see the figures, so they loose the $500.

BTW, yesterday my dad got a $750 private offer from Ford in the mail and he had not requested it. He hasn't driven a Ford for 6 or 7 years so they pulled his name out and sent him an offer to get him back. it also expires Jan 1

I went to the Ford website and ordered a 2011 Expedition and 2011 F150 brochure. I got two brochure's in the mail, and both have a $750 coupon if I "take delivery of dealer stock before 1/31/2011".

I have a 2011 F150 on order (via X-Plan) with my dealer, and it is scheduled to be built tomorrow. I hope it arrives before the end of January, and I also hope the $750 applies. (The $750 doesn't apply for A/Z/D-plans.)

So try ordering a brochure from the Ford website - you might get a $750 coupon if Ford is targeting your area for this discount.

after you work your deal just tell them you will buy it as soon as your brochure arrives.... they know what that means and they will just give you the $750. That's how I worked it.

So I guess I'm alittle confused. I ordered an '11 back in October with a 'x' plan deal and was told I would get a $1500 rebate. From what I am reading, I can get another $500 or $750 on top of that by gettng a brochure? I had also heard of possibly getting a $1000 rebate by financing with Ford (which I wasn't going to do) but if I can get another $1000 out of them why not?
I know Copyman took delivery of his last week......I'm wondering what he got for rebates?
Can anybody clear things up for me?

Here's what I got:

I'm in the NY area I know the rebates are different geographically. I also ordered a Screw

Xplan

$1500 rebate ( I got my own financing at 1.99%)
$1000 Conquest Cash - I had a GMC Yukon coming off lease
$2500 Total.

I had 2 $750 private offer mailers, but both were for the 2010 and had expiration dates of 11/30 (I ordered before that date). My dealer says... he will try to get me $750 credit for one, but I'm not overly optimistic - I have my truck already. I have requested brochures From Ford but have only received small mailers with no rebates. I have a test drive scheduled tomorrow on an Ecoboost at my workplace, and heard a rumor they would give out additional rebate offers. I had that scheduled well before my delivery. Hope this helps!

When I ordered my 2011 on the x-plan a few weeks ago, the dealer wrote "-$1500 rebate", but also wrote that Ford does not price protect rebates. I confirmed that the $1500 was not going to be removed, and they said "yes", so that was confusing to me.

I'll know the final price once the truck arrives, but I suspect the rebates / incentives will be:

-$1500 already applied
-$1000 for Ford Financing
-$750 for the brochure coupon (if I'm lucky)
= -$3250 best case

I'll take Ford financing, but will immediately pay 99% of the loan down, and then keep the loan for the requested 3-4 months.
