NHSTA testing methodology was revised in 2011 which made things tougher. There's also the dreaded "frontal overlap" test which many vehicles are failing.

Did you get your KR with black interior? Now that it's available I'd consider a KR.

Congrats on the new truck. You have to love the lifetime warranty and free oil changes that Longhorn offers. I looked at trucks up there before I bought mine. They didn't have what I was looking for though.

Very nice. I almost went with the Green Gem on my KR. It's prettier than my white but white is so easy to maintain.

Sure. Lift is a 4" Rough Country lift. http://www.roughcountry.com/suspensi...rd/f150_4.html

Tires are Nitto Trail Grapplers in 295/65r20.

Real sharp! KRs are pretty rare these days. Most folks have FX4s and then Lariats a distant second.

Its Tuxedo black, with the chaparral leather. but does appear to shift colors somewhat under the shade, my last tuxedo black did the same thing when it was CLEAN heheheh wont be very long around here
all the road work makes em red and grey real fast

Longhorn gives you a lifetime warranty on anything that touches OIL as long as they do the oil changes and normal scheduled maintenance items.
plus they do all the oil changes for the first 50k miles free.
I did get the premium warranty to 100k miles as we hit 58k in less than 3 years on the 2010
actually he sold the premium ford plan for many dollars less than I had found at other sites selling ford plans. 1400 for the 5yr/100k bumper to bumper plan

spent this morning switching over my xm stuff, and trying to update the sync, but i need a bigger usb flashy thing
so my better half is at the store getting a 10g flash drive

i cannot beleive at how much changed in 3 model years with the nav system and the my ford touch WOW
i spent most of the night reading and committing to memory most of the books

only thing that bummed me out was the loss of the 10g hard drive storage in the other truck. we had tons of music loaded, with no way to download it and put it in the new truck
but now i can use a flash drive and load it up with traveling music

still have to make anew gun safe bracket for under the rear seat
but did get the long gun safe installed last night

the interior lights are quirky and i still have adjust them to go off faster
crawling around under her last night, I had not noticed before but it has a one piece alum drive shaft
wonder if it will do the slight shudder the 2010 did when you first apply throttle
lots of heat shielding om my
