Probably need to clarify.
You began hearing grinding and the pedal began to seize.

Did it grind and did it seize or did it only begin to?
How many miles on the brakes.

Are you going to do any troubleshooting or work yourself?

Please talk to use like we are strangers and don't know what the problem is so we can help.

If it just began to grind and didn't, I don't know what could cause that. If it began to seize but never did (I don't know how you made that determination), perhaps time for lubricating the slide pins, and knocking out the rock that got caught to make it sort of grind.

Lots of possibilities.
Could be an ABS issue, Could be a Caliper or Pad issue.
First thing is to stop driving, remove wheels and inspect all the brakes. If that is all good you may want to check for codes and check the wheels sensor speeds. Sometimes a wheel sensor can make the computer think a wheel is really locked up, not set a code, and activate ABS.

They didn't finish the sentence, no period, no completion of statement - i suspect they left the forum unintentionally and might not be able to find their way back.
