You can change the RS function to 15 minutes in the truck menu. Engaging it twice gives 30 minutes. This can be done in Forscan, but that's unnecessary for this simple item.

But why does it need to be running while you are on a burn?

My daughter has a Ford Edge and she wanted to keep the car running with dogs in the car with the AC on while she would go in and use the restroom at a gas station. I have Forscan and for that car, it has a police mode. I recoded the car so you can leave the engine running without the key in the car. If the key is not in the car, you can't move the shifter. Normally from the factory, you can move the shifter without the key. I haven't checked to see if our F150 can be programmed with police mode.

Edit: On second thought, never mind. She has a key fob with no key, unlike ours which needs the key in the ignition.

Found it on the other side. Thank you for your help, coyote02. The brake shift interlock wire is the wire with the zip tie around it. I now have it on a relay and working as expected.

I still can't find where forscan is able to change idle time to 30 minutes.

Post 11. It doesn't change to 30 minutes directly.
