Default Brake Issue

Hi,
Just picked up a nice 2013 XLT and noticed something today.
It had a brake job done just before I bought it with new pads and rotors on the front from the dealer which is 75 miles away.

As you can see only the outer half of the rotor is being gripped by the pads; this is the left side also on the back side of the rotor it seems its not being touched at all.
What is noticeable is the caliper is definitely closer to the inside of the rim when looking from the backside than is the right caliper thus moving the pads further outer on the rim thus the picture.
I have done many brake jobs, admittedly not on Ford trucks, but in looking at it from the back side all seems mechanically good. I initially assumed one of the guide bolts was missing but it it not.
The truck seems to brake normally but I am not going far till I get this resolved.
It comes with a powertrain warrantee but this is a function of the dealer brake job I am sure.
Any thoughts on that this might be?

Tom

Pads are installed improperly. A very common mistake. Make sure ONLY the inboard pad has humps on it, see pic below.

Thank you very much. I am glad it was something simple like that.
