Default Box side paint question

Hey guys, well I got home from hauling a bear home late last night and the box and tonneau cove had blood on it that I didn't see and my dog decide to jump on the side of the box and scratch the paint all to hell. It's from the wheel up to the cab with a couple scratches on the door. I think they are too bad to buff out. So my question is how much do you all think it would cost to get it fixed/repainted? Thanks

They would have to paint the entire bedside and break it off at the tail light. My friend owns a shop and I would guess around 250.

To paint a bedside for scratches. Prob around $3-400. Depends on the shop. At my work if you are paying out of pocket, we would keep it low...under $500. Its would be that much because we would R+I the tonneau cover, bed cap, bumper and tailight to do a proper repair. Then repair and paint the scratches, and buff. My guess would be about 7-8 hours body labor and 5-6 hours paint labor. I could be wrong...its been a real long time since I took an auto damage appraiser course.

Ya I'll get some when I get home shortly. Its beyond the paint. I think some of them will buff out but there are a couple of deep ones

I just had a Ford dealer cahrge $325 to repaint my tailgate.
Probably about the same for one side.
Check around for prices.
I had my local mechanic (who also does body work) quote $470.
