Box Cap compatible?

Box Cap compatible?
I just got a new 2010 f150 supercrew short box and I was wondering if a cap from a 2004 supercrew short box would fit onto it?

First of all, welcome to the forum. I can't see why it wouldn't fit. I.M.O. I would take a tape measure and size it up myself so I knew for sure. The mounting hardware might be the only possible issue but I would think they would be compatible as well.

This is actually my first truck, I was just looking at buying a used cap to save some money and I haven't found any for 09-10 trucks around here.
As for it having a cut bed I'm not quite sure what you mean? Do you mean flareside as opposed to the regular box? The cap im looking at is for just a regular bed 5'6" box supercrew.
