I bought a Borla exhaust system and I need some help. Long story short it was an open box item. The description wasn't accurate at all. I'm missing all of the hardware. I can return the system but I got a big discount so I would like to keep the system. The online retailer doesn't have the hardware and they can't get it. I can't get in contact with anyone from Borla. I've tried for 2 days now and nobody answers the phones or calls me back. Here is a link to the manual. I purchased the 140416 exhaust system. Is there a way to get the hardware from somewhere else? Is the hardware universal? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

 

Summit Racing has stainless clamps , check muffler shops and auto parts stores. I had muffler shop install Corsa on a Silverado in a hour or so.

 

1st of all it's one or the other, either an S type or a Stinger, Stinger fits mustangs, S type fits F150's, I have the S type system on my truck so I'll assume that's what you need hdwr for. By the way that part # you posted is indeed the S type, same exact system I have, it's not called a Stinger, just S type.

You can get the clamps separate from Borla accessories but I didn't see the two rear hangers you will need other than some universal weld on type hangers on the same page. If I were you I'd give them a call and ask them if they will sell you those hangers along with the clamps otherwise you'll have to have them welded in place.

This is what those brackets and hanger rubbers look like, there's one for each side and they bolt in place at the leaf spring shackle.
