Borla Atak Question
OK - this may be a stupid question, but the distinct sound the Atak makes, is that caused by the muffler or is it b/c of the entire cat back system?
I love the sound of it, but I'd rather not drop a 900 bux on it. Can you just buy the Muffler and Tips and have a shop weld up the rest for you?

The Atak muffler can only be bought with their catback system and not separately. With that being said they also sell mufflers that sound similar, XR1 & ProXS

I have a question. I have a 2013 FX2 with a 6.2L v8. The ATAK which I want is only made for the 5.0L. I called Borla and asked if they made one for the 6.2L they said they did not. I then asked what the difference was by putting this on the 6.2L he said he has gotten this question a lot. The ATAK will fit on my truck but it was not designed for a 6.2L engine so he was not sure how it would sound. Has any body put this exhaust system on their 6.2L or know for a fact it would fit. Sorry for the long question.
