I’m looking for some guidance on where I can find some body-matched door handles for a 2009 F150 FX4. Can someone direct me there or give me other ideas?

Man, I promise you that I've looked on every one of those. That's why I'm here asking, because I've run aground.

I'm to the point of thinking I might have to paint a set, but I don't want to go that route if I can just buy them.

Nobody makes them new that way. So, used or painting are about the only options. There have been other threads here about this, I don't think anyone found a place that regularly sells painted handles. I've seen such sellers for mirror caps, maybe bumpers, but not door handles.

Try a local wrecking yard, and they can normally ask on the intercom if anyone else in the area has a set. Make sure you go in with your proper paint code, makes the search a lot easier.
