I just got to browsing on Google about 1AAuto.com and their Tow Mirrors for a F-150 when a video popped up showing a guy with 1AAuto.com's '07-'14 Tow Mirrors W/ Defrost/Blinker/Puddle Lamp & Manual Fold/Telescope on his 2010 STX, WITH THE BLINKERS AND PUDDLE LAMPS WORKING.

My question is, being my 2013 STX has plain jane power adjust only mirrors, if I buy these Tow Mirrors W/ Puddle Lamps & Blinkers, will they plug in and work? Do they not now simply because my factory mirrors do not have the blinkers or puddle lamps?

If so, i'm all in for these mirrors?

I just installed the 2013 tow mirror on my 2012 Lariat, all functions work except the telescoping feature. The puddle light goes to the amber light, not a lens on the bottom of the mirror like your current mirror. If I get ambitious I will figure out the wiring and make the telescoping feature work. Dealt with Steve from Tasca.

i got the OEM Ford mirrors and the blinkers/puddle lamps worked just from plugging them in. i have a 2013 STX.
