Sorry, but I have to weigh in here......they are called FOG lights for a reason. It is very likely that your local law states something to the effect that it is legal while in traffic that only the factory supplied low beam headlights should be on.

To all the Pontiac Grand Am, Subaru, BMW, and truck owners out there in FOG light land......turn them off.....I'll flash you every time......ok rant over....deep breath here......
You might even consider turning them on sometime when it is foggy and see where they are aimed and where the light distribution goes.....you just might see why oncoming traffic is being blinded by your unnecessary lighting.

Yes, there is a Philips aiming screw to adjust them up or down.

Check L (6).....if yours are bumper mounted, they are not legal, or if you have aftermarket bulbs in the wrong projectors.....well, never mind....those who intentionally blind other drivers will never listen to reason.....

Default They are bright ....

We get flashed in my wife's BMW x5 , I'm sure it's the projectors , her 05 didn't have them and we never got flashed in it . These new lights are real bright even on low beam . I know I hate it when I'm driving a two lane road in the country and a car/ truck coming at me has projectors or hids they are super bright coming right at you not to mention the damn blue color ... and the bright fogs you have are going to make it far worse , I'd bet that's why your getting flashed by on coming traffic .... just My 2 cents

Having the center of the foglight beam aimed only 25 feet in front of the vehicle as required by your law seems really restrictive. That's only a little further than one truck length. Probably useful in the fog, but pretty useless otherwise as all having your fogs on is going to do is ruin your night vision for where your headlights actually shine....counterintuitive to operate your fogs at night to see better.
