Blend door
I have a 2009 STX with single temperature control which a few weeks got "stuck" on the coldest setting. I'm assuming it's the blend door but I'm confused because I don't hear any popping noises or such like I have had with other vehicles. Anyone else dealt with this?
I have a 2010 FX 4 and just recently I could not switch the vents from panel to defrost + floor or just floor.
All my temperature controls function fine. What I was able to find is the there is a actuator that works the defrost + floor or just floor.
This actuator is located just to the upper right side of the gas pedal and relatively easy to access. I bought the part for $32 and will try it as soon as it arrives. The part number is YH-1881 and this was confirmed by the dealer I bought the truck from.
I will reply and let everyone know if this solved the problem.

I have no heat on either side of the cabin. No noises coming from behind the dash. These are the codes that popped. A buddy was able to force it from cold to heat using the computer, but I am unable to do it with the vehicle controls. It did make the whirring sound when he forced it. I don't have dual-zone controls on mine.
What am I looking at here? Is this a mechanical blend door issue, an electronic control issue, both, or something else?"]https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.f150forum.com-vbulletin/2000x1504/img_20251018_121605_558a7dbc6ffc09145a71d44d88b270 e326736302.jpg[/img]
