Default Blend door?

I have a 2010 with navigation and dual climate control. I had my blend door fixed in August because the driver side was stuck at heating temps and passenger side adjusted as normal. Now it won't switch from feet to defrost and so on. Can someone please tell me if its the same part that controls these actions? I just want to know if the part failed again or its a new one.

Doesn't sound to be the same issue, that sounds more of a temperature control issue this sounds like the blend door actuator.

Even though it might not be the same issue, the repair in August could be part of this issue too.

When you say blend door fix do you mean you had a blend door actuator replaced on the drivers side?

Might have the same issue with your defrost where the actuator motor failed. Another member on here was having an issue going between vent and defrost and ford told him to replace part 24 in your dash. If it's under warranty bring it in, if not there's a pretty good video on YouTube on how to rip apart the dash.

I'm unsure on the exact part, I'll have to look at the receipt. It was around $750 because they took apart the whole dash. I'm wondering if I'm in for round two. If it's the same part it's covered under their 12 month warranty. I hope it's that part or the $100 repair the service advisor mentioned before it was initially diagnosed.

I hope this part isn't like ball joints replace it every 40,000 miles.

The the other member was going to try and dig into his dash and see if the part is easy to remove. I asked for an update. In that picture I sent I had to replace part 25 the passenger side actuator and it wasn't that hard. Just had to remove the radio and the actuator was right there. Part 24 is a little more buried but very likely your issue.

Here's the killer, the part itself is $26, the labor is what gets you.

If you have the guts to try it out:
This is how to remove the whole dash. In this video the guy replaces the part I think you already had done.
