so as it stands now i plan on doing a 3" lift and 35" Toyos.
Sounds awesome, glad you decided on the 35s!! Shops will always hit you hard on labor, unfortunate really.. I had to take my dads truck to get a stubby antenna on it.. I watched him do it in 5 minutes.. They go that'll be $80 for labor..
Hmm so they're charging $960 an hour.. Makes sense!

Needless to say I've never gone back

yea, i am torn. i want to support local labor but i have always had trust issues on getting service of any kind. this is out of my league so i will bite the bullet at some point. i think i found a fairly decent deal i think if this guy is on about the lift. hopefully it works out well. i am ready to be done with this and put my sites on power steps and a new sound system!

Alright, peeled off my overlays today... I did it poorly when I put them on, so I just finally took them off... And oh my god are they hard to get off! Finally got them off and on the rear, the emblem's looks like cracked.. Like the coating over the emblem is cracked..

Will ford just replace it under warranty??

Hmm...most likely. Could be caused by alot of things. Warranty would probably cover it if you don't want to get another set of overlays. If you do get another set of overlays I wouldn't even bother with warranty.

Did you use a heat gun to get them off, or any sort of heat?
