Default Bilsteins and leveling kit

I was wondering if anyone has tried running their bilsteins at the second setting the 0.75" and stacking a 2" or 2.5" AS lift ontop of it. I see people running 3" coilovers with no problems just seeing if anyone has tried the combination of the two.

2.5 is the max you should go with these trucks anything more can cause premature wear on the suspension components

Just for the record, I installed Bilstein's on both front and rear on my 2012 XLT Supercab. I set the front struts to the next to the highest level (1.75 inches). The results are 1/2 inch lower in the front than the back. To me... it looks good.

I had heard that the front could top out if hitting a hard bump or speed bump if at the highest setting. This is why I stayed with the second notch down.

As for the ride... it is WELL worth the cost and work. The truck is just a tad stiffer (of course they are still new) and more stable on the bumps and curves.

Hope this helps someone out there with their decision.
