Yes. The front coilovers on the 2010 FX4 require a compressor. The rear does not require a compressor. Also, FYI the little rinky dink compressors for rent at like Pep Boys are not really up to the task.

Best bet if you are wanting to do it yourself, is put the truck on jackstands, remove both coilovers, take them to a shop swap the shocks. have them put the springs back on. and then go home and finish the job!
