BFG AT KO's, thoughts?
I've got a 2012 SCREW Lariat 4X4 that needs tires. I'm looking at getting the BFG AT KO's in stick size, 275/65R18. They are 10 ply rated, E range tires. I know they will be a bit stiffer on the ride, but I won't run them at high load pressures.
Anyone else running them and have input?

I love them. The only tires I ran on my last two trucks. I made a mistake and got some toyos once that wore out at 20000 miles early. My shop gave me a deal on the set of bfgs to replace them. Besides, if they are good enough for Jurassic park, they are good enough.

They are a heavy tire. Expect to lose 10-15% on your gas mileage!

You go from a P rated tire that weighs under 45lbs to a 10 ply tire weighing close to 60 lbs...you are going to notice a definite mpg loss of at least 10%.
You will also notice truck holds gears and shifts differently.....even on an Ecoboost with great low end.
it's physics....more mass= more gas
On another note I am somewhat regretting not going with the BFGS over the Toyo Open Country AT2 Extremes.
Price was bout the same,BFGs were better on snow/ice.
Both seem to wear fast from a lot of gravel driving.
BFGs don't break loose on wet pavement like the Toyos do.
Buyers remorse...oh well.
