Beware of BakFlip by Bak Industries

So yes.. it's buyer beware if it's only warrantied for 1 year or whatever? I would expect it to still work even after the warranty is up but that's just me……….. I've spoken to them twice on issues and they are about as helpful as a crutch in s swamp!

Do they not sell parts for it?
PM me if you want to sell it
PM me if you want to sell it

I am a Yamaha and Polaris dealer and I have seen lots of goodwill items sent over the years. They build products that sometimes just don't last like it should and most times they will goodwill a part or accessory if it doesn't last like the consumer reasonably expects it to. They buy materials and assemble their products just like Bak and get bad components as well and when it prematurely fails, they generally make it good.

Eh they all suck. Just depends on which one you choose to buy. I have the F1 which has been in snow and crazy rain and heat and held up. But I don't expect it to last all that long. It's the elements that wear it down.

If they wouldn't repair or replace it. And 30% off retail is a joke. I would move on buy another brand and not support them in any future purchases. Have thought of selling mine due to I'm really like some of the toppers out there now especially with the racks on top.

You are right, it is buyers beware! Like I said, if I only expected it to work for a year, then it would be an awful expensive disposable cover!

My issues were caused by poor manufacturing and obviously little quality assurance. You'd think they would have least acknowledged as I even provided them with pictures! Not even the courtesy of a response! That confirmed what I already thought of BAK Industries……… At least we have lots of choices who we spend our hard earned money with………
