THIS!!!! I used to drive an 05 2wd RCLB F150 for work. no fog lights, just standard halogen headlights. I never had any complaints about them and I used that truck a lot for personal use as well. I also used to use my moms 05 F250 Scab 4x4 PSD and thought the headlights were decent in that as well. When I bought my 2012 RCSB, I just could not believe the difference in headlight output, especially when they used the same bulb as the both the other trucks.

the only theory I could come up with is the reflector was too large to properly throw the light as well as the smaller F150 and F250 styles

Would these be any good?? What's the difference between a CREE LED bulb and an OSRAM LED bulb?

Was also thinking about trying these in the fogs, can't really go wrong with the price right?

I have them in my fogs. They are basically useless now but look nice! I get away with it because of my HIDs and 30" light bar.

Useless because they don't throw any light or what?

Sorry I should have explained. Yes, they throw barely any light. I put one in and left in the halogen to compare and yea, the halogen was much better. I just hated the colour difference with halogen floods and HID lights...thats why I decided to change...all esthetics.

Thanks for the info, I only have halogen headlights so I may have to stay away from them. Anyone know the difference between the cheap eBay LED bulbs and the nore expensive ones sold on f 150leds.com??

I don't know if anyone will admit/confirm it. But I don't think there is a single difference between the 2 except the price....

If you want true light, I think your looking at the morimotos as a direct replacement.

if you read the entire listing here is says NO BRIGHT ENOUGH FOR HIGH BEAMS. these also just appear to be bulbs no heat sink/fan to keep them cool. They are super cheap, but I think in this instance its a "get what you pay for" scenario.

I have seen better options on Amazon (by better I mean better than the link above, I dont think you're gonna get much better than the F150LED/LifetimeLED options) but I am waiting for a co-worker to be the guinea pig on those. He bought some PUTCO LED fog lamp bulbs locally for waaay too much $$$ so he says he's gonna buy the $60 amazon H13's and give them a shot. I'll wait for him to try before I bite the bullet.
