Hi everyone. I am a nubie here and need some advise for my wifes truck. Yesterday we bought a 2010 f150 platinum with 3500 mile. Yes 3500. It has the 5.4 engine with 3.55 limited slip rear end. I know that having a tune made especially for the truck is the best, but I would like try an off the shelf programmer. the truck will mainly be use for everyday driving with light towing. We are looking for more milage and some torque for towing. I have a 05 duramax with a ppe xcellerator programmer and have been happy with it. We use the duramax for most of the towing with the horses. Any feedback will be helpful to a new ford owner. The only upgrade on the truck that I am aware of is the exhaust.Original has been removed with duals added. Have not looked underneath to see if they are true duals, but I kinda doubt that they are.
