Looks nice, though I don’t recommend people cover their air bag unit. I hope you put a split we’re the seam is.

Not too worried actually. If the air bag can’t break through a decal, well I guess we’re done for.

I received the blinker, but after popping out an old one, there were no wires.

How do I access the mirror side to plug them in?

Thanks

When I received them, there were literally no instructions included whatsoever. I'm hoping to find a YouTube video to help out ...

No instructions on mine either. Once you pull the old blinker you drill a hole to feed the new connector through to the 2 prong pin and plug it in. It looked pretty straight forward to me. Wish I would’ve taken pix, but I didn’t.

Thanks. Did you remove the mirror to plug it in on the backside?

I popped the old one out thinking there was a plug, but then realized I had to connect it from the mirror side.

Yes.

1) Remove the mirror by wedging a screw driver behind the mirror and ‘addressing’ the clips that hold it

2) PIC #1 - This give you access to the screws that hold the mirror back cover on. Remove those (3 or 4 torx)

3) You now have access to both the front facing and rear facing blinkers.

4) PIC #2 - Both simply snap into place. For the front facing one you need to drill a hole to feed the connector through.

5) PIC #3 - This plugs into the 2 prong connector on the back facing blinker to act as a repeater.

6) Now put it all back together. Screw the mirror cover back into place.

7) Snap the mirror back on.

This video should help as well.

This is all very helpful - - thanks. But, for the record, this isn't exactly what I'd characterize as "plug and play" - - JMHO ......

When you watch the video you’ll realize the early adopters had it way worse. They had to dremel the blinker in half to add LED’s and then soldier the wire in place to connect the repeater.

Today you drill 1 hole, snap in 2 new blinkers and plug it in. I’d call that way easier......hence the ‘plug n’ play’.

Thanks, CVP.

Does the new front facing LED plug into the rear facing wire connection? Does it make the rear facing light not work? If yes, can you splice it in and have both work?

I suppose it will all be clear when I work on it this weekend, but I just want to be prepared.

Thanks again.
