Yeah, the only reason I keep satalite radio is because I sometimes drive through areas that don't get internet. Satalite works practically everywhere. But yeah, using your internet radio is more cost efficient if you have a good provider/plan.

And there's also the "iheartradio" app that can get most of my local stations.

What is the size nut or bolt for the bracket to the hitch bolt you utilized for mounting?

Thanks

ZITRADES 2 X 1.5W SMD Ultra bright 12V 18mm White Color LED High Power Eagle Eye Rear Back Up Reverse Tail Light Lamp by ZITRADES - Led Household Light Bulbs - Amazon.com

I gave $5 for a set of two, ended up with 3 sets in the package when they showed up. I guess I was just luck, but these little things are bright so I am sure I will use them somewhere else, too.

I put them in a little sheet metal (~16ga) bracket I fabbed up - 1.5" wide and 5" long

Then, I bolted it into the middle bumper/hitch bolt on each side, dropping it down on each side of the hitch. See the little yellow dot?

I wired into the center pin (reverse) of the seven pin connector and grounded on a random bolt nearby. The next picture is taken with me squatting down, you really can't see them unless you are pretty low.

This one taken standing up:

And in the display - LOTS more light in the center!:

You have unlimited data? If so thats great, but with a limited plan like myself i'll take the sirius. Although I wish I could just listen to what i want sometimes. I should get a mps player to hook up to the truck.

I remember that the socket I used to remove was a 21mm. Not sure the actual thread size - probably M16. I think I drilled a 5/8 hole in the bracket.

P.S. I drive A LOT for work - these are still holding up so far.
