A buddy of mine has given me a ton of LED strips to promote his up and coming "business" if I want to start wiring these into consoles and other places how does that work? And help electrical isn't my thing....wrenches are!

Depends, you need to tap off of a good 12v source. Also, dont wire lights in series, wire them in parallel. That way, you dont cut your voltage in half, and each light gets its 12v

I am a fan of fuse jumping if you are talking >5 amps - otherwise have a power source that doesn't have alternate uses.

That's certainly not a hard rule but its just a simple "advise" - do as you please.

Or each led strip tapped from different sources or a merc switch?

If we're doing our entire bed with pieces a 16' section, is it series or parallel? Are we concerned with voltage drop with 600 LEDs?

16' covered both sides and across the front. I started at back by passenger tail and peeled and stuck as I went. I ended up almost to the rear by the driver tail. I never cut them.

I wired them straight off battery with switch and have 600 ones.

Picked up some AVS seamless window deflectors off eBay for $45. They were new, just opened box. Regularly, they are ~$80.

Installed them today.
