Rear Strobe Lights using the OEM LED Tail Lights
I have been adding to my 2016 f150 1 mod at a time, its time to post a few.
My 2016 f150 Lariat has LED tail lights so adding rear hideaway strobes was not possible.
I found strobe drivers (LSC-100B: Pulsing Strobe Module) online www.superbrightleds.com.
Using diodes to prevent power running "upstream" to the OEM control module.
I tapped into the wiring at the tail lights and mounted the strobe drivers under the bed rail inside the cap. Sealed all with shrink tube.
I used 3 strobe drivers, 1 for the back up lights, and 1 for each brake light.
The strobe modules are not synchronized
This mod cost less than $30.

Thought it might be helpful to post into the cheap mod department. A charge cord relocation. For those (like me) who hate to see cords hanging down into the passenger footwell, and getting pinched from the sliding door tray, but still want to be plugged into SYNC. Did a little write up of the process here https://www.f150forum.com/f118/charg...p-pics-353275/

That looks awesome. I wish I had a flow-through console. I also prefer plugging my phone in for a little charge, and the music sounds better as you said. Hate having the cord hanging down as I snag it sometimes since I keep my phone in the otherwise useless cubby hole to the right of the steering wheel.
But yeah, My OCD got the better of me. Always hated the cord hanging around!
