Default Belltech lowering kits

Has anyone done the 982SP or 980SP?

Both advertise the capability of a 3" front and 4" rear.

Not 100% the difference between the two kits as one has adjustment of the front of +1" to -3" and the other -2" or -3".

I am hoping the 3/4 kit IS indeed different than the 5" or 5.5" rear drop as I find the rear looks a little squatted that low, in comparison to the front.

My truck is a RCSB 2WD.

My 2022 F150 I did a 5.5" rear flip kit then used lift hangers to avoid the same squatting look.

I'm not looking to slam this RCSB, but rather a nice stance in between. Something a bit more than a 2"/2" so I figure if I get a true 3"/4", that should do it.

The 980SP has Belltech springs for the front will the 982SP you use your own
The rear when I put it on mine was pretty close to the 4 but I ended up putting the lift shackles on and now I am taking the flip kit off, the squat is to much with my camper shell on. My front is at 2 inches so I can get in my garage without scraping the frame so mine will be a 2/2 after this weekend.

Is that pic the kit as originally installed, before you do lift hangers?

That's too low for my liking, on this truck of mine.

Looking at that, I may be better served to do the 2/2 kit. Just the rake with shackles alone is still a bit high from what I've researched.

I know the 3/4 kit on my 2003 was totally a different animal and that is as a 2/3 on my 2013. Seemed like the lift shackles only went up about 1/2" so a 2/3.5.
I am also 1 that hates the creaking and groaning from the flip kit.
My truck is still used as a truck also, the tools in the bed and back seat do make it sit lower.

Funny you say that. My 2022 has a flip kit and I have to figure out all the suspension noise that's coming from the back with anything but a perfectly smooth road. Sounds like stuffs rattling apart over any minor bump.

It does look so sweet, though.

I have had a chassis ear on it and both the saddle on the axle and the 1.5 inch lift on the front hanger are making noise, saddle creaks and the lift hanger literally sounds like a groan.

Did you complete your suspension change?
Have more pics when at 3/4 and current, without the shell on?
