What is the metal cylinder with plastic attachments behind the drivers side headlight?

To the only serious question, no thanks to the rest of you knuckleheads, yes it is an ecoboost. And no pics.

I'll need a pic. I'm looking behind the drivers headlight on my EcoBoost and have nothing behind it except the air box. Aftermarket CAI perhaps? idk

I pulled the headlights on my Raptor, but I cannot remember what was back there. Been a while.

I want to say I saw a question like this on another thread and I believe someone said that it had to do something with the high pressure fuel pump. This is a serious guess and just a shot in the dark. I may be way of base here though?
