I have a 2011 f150 5.0L. From a complete stopped start off, It does a very mild jolt every time. Then it shifts into 1 gear smooth as ever along with all the others. Just trying to figure out what that little jolt would be before i accelerate?? Any thoughts?

 

I had the exact same issue on my 2011 5.0 XLT. Although mine was more of a shudder than a jolt.
The service technician said it was most likely the slip yoke.
They had it in the following morning; and he greased the slip yoke.
The vehicle drove fine afterwards. It's been about two weeks.

If you search "slip yoke" here; you should see a few similar issues.
You should be able to use those to determine if your symptoms are similar.
