I don't think any of the Bilsteins are particularly considered towing shocks. Any new shocks will feel better compared to beat up ones, at least at first. Shocks are about control for towing.

I was just pointing out that people are all crazy about 5100s, but if you aren't using them to level the truck, there is an option.
