Bed Size Question
I have a question. Is a 2001 f150 5.5ft bed the same size as a 2010 f150 5.5ft bed? Or are they diff cause of the year? I found a cover on CL for cheap but im affraid its not going to fit. Thanks

The length is about the same. The new beds are deeper. The 2001 5.5' bed was somewhere between a flareside and fleetside, where the new beds are more squared like a fleet side. The cover won't work.

Bed length is probably about the same. But that doesn't matter. You're talking about two different body style trucks with completely different beds. In short, it will not work.
The beds on these two trucks have absolutely nothing in common other than who made them.
