Default Bed lights and puddle lights will not turn on

So today I just noticed that my puddle lights and my bed lights will not come on. I checked the fuse that runs the lights and it looks good. Any ideas or different fuses to check. This is for a 2011 f150 limited. Thanks

If it's not the fuse and its not switched . Either a made ground or a short. Grab a meter and ohm it out with power off. Check for a short to ground from power. And short to ground from ground. If all good check between the pair. If still good switch to d/c and check for power starting at source till you loose pwr. I bet it's a bad ground. 99% it is

The only thing I have done to the truck is added the LED turn lights in the side mirrors. No wires have been cut.

Puddle lamps come on with the cargo light. Cargo light wire is gray with a purple stripe located in the driver's kick panel. But if the interior lights are all working then something is up. Just hoping if you know the wire you can narrow down the problem using a meter to see if the line has a load.

I'm new to checking ohms and what not to an electrical system. I do have a meter, but I do not know the exact steps to take to check out the areas that several of you have talked about. I would like to fix this issue without the dealer involved, but I may drop it off due to the fact that I only have 9k miles on it.

Connect your meter to ground and check the gray/purple striped wire in the mirror for power, if no power put your meter to ohms put one lead to the wire leading to the puddle light and the other to the gray/purple striped wire under the driver kick panel. (mine is connected on the passenger side) If you get a reading of 0.0 its a good wire, if you get into where your meter is reading Kilohms or megaohms there is a broken wire somewhere and you will have to trace it out. I would pry drop it off at the dealer and let them sort it out if you cant figure it out.

If you were in Arkansas I would come give you a hand and show you how to check these things. But if you are new to electrical work and this is a factory warranty issue I say take it in and don't risk messing around and loosing the warranty.

Warranty work? Pretty sure that'll be covered, no?
