Default Bed Covers for 5.5 box

I'm looking for a decent quality bed cover for my 5.5 box but I really can't spend a fortune! I like the Bak Flips and Xtangs but damn! Some of those prices are a bit salty! Anyone have a recomendation for something nice for under $200? I'd like a tri-fold as opposed to snap/velcro roll up but any type would be considered.

For $200 you'll be hard pressed getting a new hard cover tonneau.

Try auto anything or ebay. For about $250-300 you'll get the bottom of the line. Otherwise try to find a used one on Craig's

LOL! You PAY for good stuff. I guess it just depends on how well you want it to hold up and protect whatever is underneath it. Did you try doing a search on this topic? I'm thinking it's been covered before...

as others have said $200 really aint gonna go far. I got the BakFlip VP, caught a sale a while back and got it for $550 shipped. Just keep looking around.

That's the thing...I just want to keep water and snow out of the bed. I don't really plan on keeping anything valuable back there and I can't see paying $500 plus for something that is basically a cosmetic addition for my truck. So yeah, I am just looking for something cheap but functional.

I did see this on Amazon...

Tri Fold Tonneau Cover 2009 2012 Ford F 150 5.5ft Short Bed : Amazon.com : Automotive Tri Fold Tonneau Cover 2009 2012 Ford F 150 5.5ft Short Bed : Amazon.com : Automotive

I'm sure it isn't top shelf but hey, it has an aluminum frame and lifetime warranty! Thoughts? Looks like it is ProEFX brand.

I got my Buddy a Great deal for his New 2013, we went to my local Parts place and got him a BAK Flip F1 reg 1,200.00 and got it for 649.00 CDN.

I have the Bak flip HD and got mine for 599.00 reg ....1099.00CDN

BUT!! that being said we both bought other Items he Bought 30" Rigid Light bar and rear Mini's for back up and power tailgate lock, and got a deal on that stuff too.

Good Luck on the 200.00 but you might get a folding Fabric one......or roll up...look for a used one......

tonnopro is the least expensive i have found, got good reviews but not as nice as the one costing about double. $279 shipped is about the going rate, i think i am going to try it out and order one. do a search on here to read reviews. auto anything and auto accessories. com have them for $279 do not know if they qualify for 10-15% sale. every time i try buy something from either place they tell me they do not getsale price.

I'm in the same boat. I want a bed cover to keep out dirt, leaves, and keep my bedrug out of the line of sight as it would be insanely easy to steal.

Since I paid $150 bucks for the bedrug, I don't really see the logic in paying $800 to hide it.

$200 will get you really nice pictures of a quality bed cover.
