Look at peragon! Aluminum and closes like an accordion. Few people have them they are around $700 and ship direct from manufacter so any issues your not dealing with a distributor!

Undercover SE, 100% waterproof and you can stand on it. Strong unit.

My buddy has the g2 and his leaks a little plus you have to open it evrytime you close your gate. But it does look pretty good.
Ditto for the Trifecta. Looks good, easy to remove, and easy to install.

Thanks everyone. Seems like most are happy with Bakflip G2, but is it true you have to open it to close the gate?

I want something that can be removed in sections. So like a 3 section unit or something?

Do not want a cover that rolls, want something a little more sturdy.

Thanks,

Nick

Yes. If I close the gate with the cover locked down, the tailgate hits the cover and has shoved it forward. I've just gotten in the habit that I unlatch the cover as soon as I drop the tailgate. I haven't seen it as a big deal.

Does anyone know which one that Ford Accessories sells? I'm not if mine is the Extang Trifecta, G2 or what it is haha. I have a light yellow pull handle on the left hand side when I lower the tailgate to flip it the first time. Then I have to pull the cable each time after that to flip it. I don't have the sticks to keep it propped all the way up, I believe they are missing.

That's exactly what mine is and I've always been told it's a Bakflip G2. Mine has the rods to prop it up though.

Here are some pics of the struts on mine. the rod just mounts to the rail via a ball joint.

I have everything except for those two rods, i have the 90* elbow piveting pieces and the two hooks to keep the rod in place when not in use! Thanks man!!!! I cleared out my messages too.
Are those starters in your bed? Haha

OP, Sorry for jacking your thread! I have seen the Pace Edwards, brother in law has a similar Roll-N-Lock that has a small box for the sliding garage door type cover to roll up in. This takes up some room! But if that's the style you want, the price is somewhat high! I have had one before and didn't like having the box it rolled into because my tool chest sat in that spot. I went with a bakflip hard cover style to keep my UWS chest. I had the Vinyl cover that sits on top of the rail, it was from BESTOP same as the TonnoPro I assume. It was light and held water great, I'd say 90% or so. It was light- 12lbs and easy to remove fast! It had 4 handles to clip it quickly against the bedrail. If you have a tool chest or like me... A Undercover swingcase, these clips wont be in a position to clip to the side rail... I can now have a tool chest in the front of my bed, swingcase- I have one on the passenger side only, and my Yeti cooler on the right! The cover is secure and I don't have to get rid of anything underneath to use the cover!
