It is definitly street drivable, you just have to know when to take a turn slow. But i do not want to take it offroad because i know i will catch the fender and rip something off. I had to trim the lower plastic which is very easy to do. The rubbing is on the back of the front fender. It is sheet metal. I have not taken to much time to take off the fender plastic but it looks like you would be able to cut some with out having to cut any that you would see from the outside of the truck. I can take a picture a little later. You can avoid the rubbing by running a 12.5" wide tire.

I have no issues with rhw traction control going on after I reprogramed for the correct tire size. I had it go on once before I reprogramed though.
