Hey all, I'm trying to get my truck fixed.
It's a 2014 xlt, 3.5, 4x4, crew.

My problem is that I believe the BCM has failed. Unfortunately I can't just go down to the parts store to buy one.
What are people doing for replacements? Dealer only part? If so do they come programmed for your truck?
I found a part off a parts truck but it wasn't the right one so it wouldn't work.

If you Google BCM repair a few companys come up.
Check reviews I guess.

 

You will want to talk Bob Allen Ford in Kansas. They have refurbished ones they will send you.
Once you have the new one then you will need to have it programmed to your truck.
It worked for me and my truck has been up and running for about a year now!
On a side note... before replacing that BCM... You might want to try cleaning the ground wire next to it and the ones on the inner fender and firewall.
