I’ve recently encountered bcm code u3000 and u1000 in forscan, I’m almost entirely certain the culprit is a set of I put in back around September or so of ‘24. For a while they triggered a code that said the headlights on both sides were shorting to a ground. I also had hyper flash and disabled it in forscan. About the beginning of April/end of march, my front turns stopped working entirely but the rears still worked fine. I don’t know how but I’ve got the left front turn working but not the right front. I don’t want to have to find a new bcm and get it programmed but I can if I have to. Thanks in advance.

 

My understanding is U3000 and U1000 mean the FET protected circuit is disabled permanently and the only fix is module replacement unless you can find someone that can repair the BCM somehow.

 

Thank you, not what I wanted to hear but I’ll start looking for one that’ll match my truck. And then a set of not so shady headlights

 

also, the right front light overall works, the turn signal bulb blinks and comes on for unlock but won’t turn, when it does come on it’s very dim
